Rothe Enterprise’s Government Information Technology Services Branch provides the best in class IT solutions and Network Control Center operations. We have a combined Information Technology knowledge base of over 50 years.
Our staff consists of dedicated MCSEs, MCSAs, Microsoft Office Specialists, HP ASEs, CCNAs, MCPs, A+ Technicians, and support personnel, who are available 24/7 to provide support and guidance to our clients. We are a certified woman owned HUBZone small business that has been in operation since 2000.
Our capabilities combined with those of our affiliate, Rothe Development, produce a synergism which make us a team which will meet and, in most cases, exceed the daily operating requirements and effectively react to a wide scenario of contingencies.
Operation of Base Network Control Center (BNCC), Columbus AFB, MS
REI has been operating the BNCC at Columbus AFB (CAFB) since November 2002. We provide the following services: Management of the base network tenant servers, hardware and software management; SAN management, Information Protection, management of Exchange; management and administration of the base firewall; Wing Information Assurance Program; communication and emissions security; base help desk support, small computer repair, applications training and web master/programming services.
REI performs all duties and tasks associated with the management, installation and configuration of communications, information and computer systems for CAFB. REI assists in base level C4 planning, coordination and implementation. We develop/coordinate/maintain operations, concept, continuity of operations, contingency, support, service restoration, unit type code requirements, deployed capability and other plans involving C&I resources or activities associated with this contract.
REI established and maintains the Wing Information Assurance Office and performs all functions associated with Information Assurance procedures and policies. REI operates and maintains a learning center to conduct initial and recurring hardware/ software training for base organizations and this training includes; installation and configuration of hardware/software components, MS Windows (200x,VISTA), MS Office (2000x,VISTA), Internet Explorer, and other related software.
We also develop the syllabus for all training and document all training and conduct semiannual surveys to determine future training needs, and develop customized (basic, intermediate and advanced)courses.
REI provides complete web services to the base populace to include extranet, intranet, and development services. Our web programming shop applies all current Air Force standards and public law, such as Section 508, to ensure security and compliance of all unit sites hosted on the Columbus web servers. In addition to design, development and maintenance activities, we actively pursue potential improvements in automation for unit sites as well as providing audited documentation trail via SQL database data storage.
We specialize in ASP.Net development and Active Directory integration as well as basic HTML, DHTML, and XML page design. We have successfully developed and deployed a web-based command and control communications interface as well as several network administration utilities to increase the efficiency of our staff and to provide long-term documentation of actions taken.
Prime Contractor for Training Devices Branch Support, Training Division, Ft. Rucker, AL.
REI is responsible for fabricating, maintaining, operating, storing and dispensing training aids, devices and systems utilized for training Army Active Duty, Reserve and National Guard units throughout the entire southeastern region of the US. We additionally service units outside of the southeastern region which require specialized training which is only offered at Fort Rucker.
The startup for this contract required a 2 week suspense which we completed in 10 days and were fully functional to meet all requirements of the contract. This contract period of performance is 1 October 2008 to 30 September 2013.
Under this Firm Fixed Price contract REI schedules, prepares and conducts training sessions for Army active duty, reserve, and National Guard units on a 24/7 operation as needed. REI operates the simulation systems for preparing Army personnel to function in various combat arenas and scenarios. Our staff conducts pre-operational and post-operational check on all computer training systems, computerized training devices or computer driven simulation systems.
Our staff downloads and upgrades software for all Training Device Systems. We troubleshoot and evaluate computer problems, perform local resolution or turn-in for repair to maintenance facility. We are responsible for assuring that the latest version of software is installed in all training device systems and reporting any noncompliance in the software/device interface which could potentially lead to malfunction of the device or harm to the operator or trainee.
